Welcome to Church Farm Close Medical Practice

Telephone System Upgrade

Receiving so many telephone calls a day, the surgery’s telephone system is cracking under the pressure!!  A new system has been purchased and will be put in place soon.

Unfortunately Lofthouse Surgery’s telephone will be disconnected for up to 5 days whilst we have a new phone system installed.  This is so BT can make the system better for patients.

What will happen?

21st July 2016 – The number to Lofthouse Surgery will STOP working

25th July 2016– The SAME number  01924 822273  for Lofthouse Surgery will be working again.

It may be working as soon as the 22nd July, but BT cannot guarantee this.

What you need to do

If you cannot get through to Lofthouse Surgery, ring our other site

The Manse Surgery on 0113 2823390

They will help you with all your requests and make appointments for you.

Lofthouse Surgery is still open, it is just the telephone that will not work.

If you need urgent medical care when we are closed, between the hours of     6pm and  8am, or over the weekend, please ring NHS 111 for advice by dialling 111

or if your call is an emergency dial 999

Disabled Access

The Lofthouse Surgery is approached by a series of shallow steps with hand rails, suitable for prams, pushchairs and those with walking difficulties.

Patients who use a wheelchair can gain access directly from the car park at the rear of the building where there is a ramp with a handrail. Press the button and speak to reception who will unlock the door for you. The Manse Surgery is approached by four or five steps from the main road, Marsh Street. Alternatively, it can be approached from the larger shoppers’ car park at the rear and the path around the side of the building, without the need for any steps to be negotiated.

At The Manse Surgery some of the consulting rooms are upstairs on the first floor. If you are unable to climb the stairs please inform the receptionist on arrival and the Doctor or Nurse will come downstairs to see you when your appointment is due.
